cex.co.uk are going to offer import ones at 'around' the same price. this may have a bearing on the numbers/availability (I don't s'pose dicksons will sell those though).

Question

anyone think (pre christmas) there will be silly priced PSX2s in the Times for a grand a throw, just because numbers are limited?

Chiark

I thought that after Sony had cut the UK's quota that there were not enough PS2s to go around? Or are they planning to bring more in before Christmas?

After seeing what's happened in recent years, there probably will be.

Unfortunately there are always some unscrupulous sods who are just in it for instant profit, and still more daft folk who will pay the price asked.

chiark,
HTML is probably off due to a certain person with a 'dragon like' name having some fun with HTMl, which upset a few people.

Just thought I'd bring this topic forward as I'd seen some of the prices being asked on e-bay and Yahoo auctions at the moment.

The auctions that have bids on them range from around £400 to up to £1000, though there are a few out there asking for £1500 and even £2000. These have no bidders.......yet.

Are people really that daft/desperate to pay these stupid asking prices????
