Ive got a few old bonds some of which I know have been cashed. Ive heard that you can check them online to see if a) they are live and b) whether they have won anything.

I tried a while back, the ones my mum has are so old they don't have the same ref numbers on as the newer ones so couldn't check on the web site, so if yours are old you'll have to write and they will issue numbers.
