Yes I am a numtie but I have lost my MOT certificaten Do I have to do a full re test or can I request one from the garage that did my MOT 6 months ago?

I think I lost it last month when I had to renew my Tax at the Post Office. I'll give the PO a ring on Monday but I think its gone

Give the garage the date the test was done (or as close as you can remember),to make it easier for them to find the papeerwork,then they will issue you with a duplicate,the price has gone up on duplicates and they're alot more expensive than they used to be.

you can get a duplicate but it is usually half the cost of a full MOT
