Anyone know where I can pick on of these little beauties up in the UK?

If I ship from the US, do I need to pay import duty and VAT?

If you get it shipped from the us you will be subjected to 10% import tax and 17.5% vat on the lot (including the delivery charge).

or you could ask the seller if they could make a 'mistake' on the amounts they put on the invoice, as thats what you pay the taxes on.
