Woo hoo,
My Fuji S602 Digital camera turned up today, with 1GB microdrive.
If anyone is after a mega camera, then Im well chuffed with this, muchly recommended, even the software is cool, allows the camera to act as a usb device for drag and drop etc.
Can get something like 30 mins video with sound at 640 X 480 and the pic quality is just awesome, 6 X optical zoom too, oh and it works as a web cam.........
Bought it from internetcamerasdirect.co.uk - it arrived next day so thanks for the people on here who recomended that one.
Andy, just wish I hadnt just done 400 quids damage to the car, might have bought the camera the month after.........ooops

Great camera. I've had mine about 3 months. Used it in rapid fire mode while up in a helicopter at last weekend trackrod rally in Yorkshire. quality even in that mode is pretty decent. Could do with the microdrive though as I used up 4 64meg cards in 4 hours

pics have been heavily compressed to reduce them from 2.5meg each to 100k so I could upload them via turbo uploader site. Originals are MUCH better

Nice!
How much was the microdrive?
I've just bought a Nikon Coolpix 5700 and considered getting a 1gb microdrive but have been told that I'm best going for either a 512mb 20x flash card or a couple of 256 20x flash cards.
Supposedly they don't drain the battery as much, write the images much faster and are more reliable (not mechanical unlike the microdrive).
Andy.
