power washers
#2
I picked up a Karcher from Halfords. A 270 or something.
I've found I don't use it as much as I thought I would. By the time you've set it up (mains extension, circuit breaker, hoses etc), you could of done half the job with a Mark I bucket and sponge.
Good for cleaning all the salt and crud off the bottom of the car after winter.
Damn good for cleaning the patio though.
Cheers,
Chris.

Hi
There's been loads of questions about power washers so try a search but the general consenses(sp?) is there not to clever on cars especially ones like scoobies where its easy to pick up a little chip on front bumper, and washer get underneath it and pushes more paint off.
