there shold be lots of DC's for sale as word has it that Sega is killing off the DC due to big, big losses.

Only reason my partner has a dreamcast is that a) she got it cheap, and b) she only uses it for internet access. she does not play games on it, mainly as she has a playstation as well.

As for getting a DC, you might want to pop down to your local Blockbuster video store and ask them if they have any ex-rental units for sale. This is how we got ours, they we're selling off the ex-rental units as no-one was really hiring them out, thus they were going cheap. Might be worth a try.
