Question

Hi,

Lost my mobile in the local village on saturday,contract had run out on friday and transfered to payg so haven't lost too much,someone has used it 3 times and no credit left,i rang the no they called and lad on other end says he will have a word and try and find it. The other no was a fax 07953 9689995183 how do find the mobile no from this as i want to ring it up.

Don't know how to find the number but if you have no luck finding the phone, call the service provider and report the phone stolen, they should then be able to blacklist the phone to stop it ever being used again. You may not get your phone back but it renders it useless. I think also that it becomes blacklisted on all networks nowdays not just the one that you reported it stolen too.

info: only YOUR network provider blacklists h/s from it's own network

ie h/s on orange and lost it, finder/thief gets it unlocked and use on O2

will doing this mean that only the number which is mine will be locked or the phone locked.
