Does anyone agree with me that if this guy that has been arrested for the rapes of all these women and young girls,if his DNA matches those found at the scene and on the victims, he sould not be granted a trial just EXECUTION ?

from what i can gather the DNA is nearly 100% accurate so why not just snuff the evil barstrds that do this kind of thing. give the money thet they would spend on imprisonment to the victims.

Regardles of whether this suspect is the perp he will be on rule 43.

At the mercy of proper villans..........crack dealers, joy riders, over enthusiastic debt collectors.......Albanian loan sharks, career criminals "gangsters" etc.

Rule 43 prisoners are "vunerable" and even if he is innocent he will be treated "as guilty" by the prison population of staff and fellow inmates.

His food will be p1ssed and **** in.

He will be scalded in the showers.

The prison officers will turn a blind eyes at every oportunity so "informal justice" can be meted.


I pray they have the right man. Because he will not walk "right" by the time he comes out!

This country does not give death penalty as that ultimate sanction would lead to more "rape and.murder" than "just rape" before you go ballistic........IF YOU ARE GOING TO BE KILLED FOR YOUR CRIME YOU DON'T LEAVE A WITNESS.

Seriously, though, comments like yours (and the others in this thread) don't help matters - and reducing 'justice' down to mob-rule and the "KILL THEM ALL" mentality just leads to the type of scene we saw with Maxine Carr - where people were spitting at her and offering to torture her to death, despite the fact that she

a) hadn't actually been charged with anything, let alone been proven guilty and

b) wasn't implicated in the killings at all - she was only accused of withholding information and perverting the cause of justice.

The fact is that it's totally hypocritical to condemn somebody for an act of violence whilst suggesting that they have something similar inflicted on them. Or did I miss something, and have we recently reverted to Shariah law?

my original post started I agree that too often we are ready to string someone up before any kind of legal trial has taken place. I'm sorry but in cases where somebody is carrying out repeated acts of rape (which include children) then I really don't care at all what happens to that person. They have no worth to offer society therefore whatever happens to then is of no concern to me. I personally would have no intention to carry out any act of violence to them but if somebody else wished to them as far as I am concerned then let them.

I personally would quite happily lock up anybody for life who commits a serious crime i.e. where violence is used, or who commits the same crime repeatedly. People who repeatedly steal cars or break into houses are scum. I cant imagine that any decent person would do any of these things so why should we tolerate it? Get them out of society until they die.

I believe that the vast majority of people in this country would vote to brink back the death penalty even accepting that a mistake may be made occasionally.

The Law should be what the majority of the people want it to be and not what the politically correct (like Mark O) think it ought to be.

WTF? I'm not politically correct. I'm perfectly happy for criminals to be strung up, and in certain cases would agree with the re-introduction of capital punishment. My comments on this thread have merely been an attempt to get people to calm down a bit and try and be level-headed, rather than just resorting to mob rule when the suspect hasn't even been tried yet. Ski Ned - The UK still has the Dealth Penalty, it is only available for treason (defacing the image of the Monarch, plotting to over through the Government, cutting down silver birch trees without permission and harming a swan for example).

Rapists should be put in the general prison population with a tattoo stating their crime, either that or they should be treat as one person at work suggested "put their nuts in a vice leave a rusty knife next to vice and set fire to the shed they are in".

DNA is so safe as evidence, the FSOs I have worked with can get a full DNA profile from partial skin cells. On their scale of evidence it is in the "very high supporting evidence" category.
