Wink

These plates are a waste of time and money, all they do is take the negative and put it through a computer (digitise it and hey presto ).
People have tried everything from spraying hairspray on their numberplates to those "special" reflective ones (which dont work).
Put it this way, if they did work then they would be banned from selling them, now why are they not banned?

Last year at the Scottish motorcycle show there was a stand demonstrating "BACKFLASH" anti camera numberplates. A guy was using a digital camera and showing the audience a totally white reflection. At a special show price of £150. I took a picture with my own digital camera and the guy almost had a fit. The picture came out perfectly. He made all sorts of excuses. I managed to have a look at the setting on his camera. It was set for a long manual exposure. I would recommend anyone to steer well clear of this very obvious con.

like the rest of you im not convinced they work at all ,

but if it was to come out in the photo all white (over exposed ) the police are not allowed to inhance photos and as far as i know digital photos are not allowed as evidence as they are to easy to doctor ....

My mate took a photo of the camera shy ones at the motor show and sure enough it came out white. When downloaded to the pc though a simple brightness tweak made the number plate legible....
