A friend of mine has bought a Whirlpool washing machine 2nd hand, its in pretty good condition so we thought, anyway, on the spin (Fast or Slow) the drum seems to move a hell of a lot i.e hits the glass window jobbie....
Any ideas on how to tighten the drum up? - never worked on a washing machine before lol

Could be the bearings of the dampers on them. It could also have been damaged in transit. They are supposed to have a bracket on them (usually under the top panel) that holds the drum rigid for transportation purposes.
