Basically am looking to buy a decent watch...1-2k and was wondering if there are usually any decent bargains in the Harrods sale.
Maybe a Blancpain or IWC for the right price.
Anyone any experience....

Paul,
There are very few bargains in the sale, most of the heavily reduced sale watches are the manky ones noone bought (hence being in the sale!)
I did see a couple of bargains, but you have to get there on the 1st day, or they will be long gone.
I bought a Jaeger Le Coultre reverso with 25% off in watches of switzerlands sale, which i though was much better, with more current models included in the sale.
Cheers.

Why not use one of the specialist "seconhand" watch dealers eg Second Time Round in Bond Street and buy a perfect used quality watch eg Rolex for a lot less money than new.
