I bought a second hand video player from a friend and the 1st tape I put into it it decided to rip the tape in two. How easy are vhs tapes to repair? Do you need a special kit? If so where do you get them from ?

Any help greatly appreciated!

Is it not cheaper to buy a pre recorded copy of the 93 TDF, then chuck the video player away?

Its not a highlights tape or I would be quite happy to replace it, but thanks for the suggestion. Simon.

bit of sellotape, it'll be fine, just a bit crappy where the repair is. Used to do this with audio tapes, anyway, should work for video.
