And I'm not talking about the 80's show with Bruce Willis!
Seems that on most of the fireman threads people keep going on and on about moonlighting fireman, mainly due to them not paying taxes on thier other jobs.
So, a question for you lot. Any of you lot moonlight?
Just curious to know, as it would seem to me that it appears this would seem to be a practice that soley fireman indulge in (Yes, this is sarcasm!)

Have done from time to time, have taken one off contracts that can be worked on outside business hours and hence don't interfere with my day job. Handy for the money.
Haven't done one in ages, but now I'm working away more and earn more

Don't moonlight myself, but did employ a team of firemen to landscape part of my garden a few years ago. No need for mechanical diggers with those guys!

Have done totally for the last year or so.
All cash in hand jobs, mainly websites but some installs/tech support type stuff usually at evenings and weekends but sometimes I just dont turn up to work all morning and go and do a private job. Yes Im for real!
Well worth it, made a grand one weekend and laughed my way to the bank. Im not on mty own, one of my colleagues probably makes 10 -20k a year in cash doing the same, but its all about contacts.
