Was at work today, in a daydream as ever and thought....(Clouds from head, small to large) I wonder how long your average seagul lives for????

So just to put me out of my misery does anyone know???

I was guessing about 5 years maybe??

If they are greater / lesser black gulls, not very long because I will shoot the b@stards!! They eat my crops!

Get some bicarbonate of soda and dip some bread in it.

Throw some bread to the gulls and then introduce the "Doctored" bread.

They will get about 30 yards before the soda reacts with the liquid in their stomachs creating so much gas that they EXPLODE

Of course you have to let them get 20 miles from the coast before you can blast them out of the sky. Apparently 20 miles inland they become vermin!

Apparently the Royal Navy's Phalanx ship-borne anti-missile defence system -- basically a 30mm gatling gun firing DU shells -- is very effective against a flock of seagulls
