I am going to fit another lock to my front door, and i know exactly the lock i am after.
I have looked at places like Screwfix.com, B&Q and Homebase and there seems to be quite a difference in price between them.
Anyone know any good sites that do security stuff that i might be able to get a better price than the main places ?

Loads of choice and hence price.
Do want want a deadlock (only can be opened with a key)?
Do you want a latch?
How secure do you want it? 5 levers are best.
Check your contents policy as there might be a clause in there specifying the sort of locks you should have to remain covered. Like anything else in life, you get what you pay for and where security is concerned, a bit extra spent now is a wothwhile investment. B&Q etc is probably as competitive as anywhere but www.yell.co.ukmight be worth a look under Locksmiths.
I'd personally go for a Chubb (or similar) 5 lever mortice (goes in a recess inside the door) lock.
Cheers

Well i currently have one type of lock, and i know what other type of deadlock i want. I have seen the model that i want and it is insurance and police approved.
I am just after competitive prices.

Screwfix would get my vote. Saying that, I bought our locks from B&Q... Two different types in case there's a vulnerability on one of 'em. One fitted at normal height, one at knee height.
