Question

I fancy getting me and my girlfriend some snowboarding lessons for Christmas. She has done it before a few years ago and I am a complete novice. I have never even seen a board up close

Does anyone know of any indoor centres that provide lessons in the South East, Brighton, Sussex, Kent way or any companies that do weekends away in the Alps or similar?

Also what should I expect to pay. I was told that £10-£15ph is about right

was at snozone on wednesday night. good place for boarding and they do run lessons.....dont know what it costs but we paid 20 quid for an hour's free ride

whatever you do dont go near a dry slope for your first boarding lessons..far too much falling over on very "hurty" surface..

John Nike centre in Bracknell is probably a bit closer. Don't know if it's the closest though.

Cool

The SnowBowl in Chatham (01634 847161) has real snow all year round, but I've heard rumours that it's run out of funding and is either closing or has already closed.

BTW, if you like snowboarding look into wakeboarding too. It hurts less when you wipeout so you push yourself more!! (works for me anyway)
