Nokia Phone Radar Detector Trick....does it work

Probably been discussed loads before 
I was told this morning that entering a 00000 digit code into my Nokia turns it into a radar detector
I've done it and now have a symbol on my phone which is supposed to mean its in the detector mode
Is this true, sounds like a pile-a-poo to me
