Anyone know if you can by Silicon Sealant in a spray form at all?
Or anything similar?!?!
I can't find a leak in my conservatory so I wanted to try spraying something into all the hard to reach places.
Cheers
Rob

think you can get some sort of bitumen spray , used for under sealing cars though so probably a bit messy for indoors .

The usual trick for leaky conservatory roofs (sp? rooves ) (assuming it is the roof) is to apply a sticky foil type tape to the seams of roof panels, cant see it from below.
forget what the tape is called tho

Speak to a company called tremco.
http://www.tremcosealants.com/
the tape is call tremband (trade name). the problem with roofs is that the water may apear to be coming from one area when in fact it has tracked along the transoms and down the rafters. can be nightmare to track down

Well the situation is this.. The bloke I bought the house off was a builder and he build the conservatory himself. It has a balcony which comes off the bedroom above the conservatory.
I've been having nightmares with leaks ever since I moved in. For ages I was convinced the water was coming through the tiles themselves and recently I put some seal on them (g4 used for sealing ponds) but still the water leaks in. It all looks a bit of a mess now after all the various remedies I've tried that haven't worked. Of course you can sit there with a hose for hours on end and nothing comes in. As soon as we get a decent bit of rain it starts again.
I'm getting really pissed off with it now and my next plan of attack is the flashing. Ideally I was thinking of sealing it over with something. Don't really want to replace it. Its not really that accesable either, hence a spray of some sort.
I'm that pissed off with it, if I had the money I'd rip it down and get a new one built.
Cheers for the help

Are the walls tiled or did I misunderstand that bit.
Perhaps it's coming through porous brickwork.
could try sealing the walls with Thomsons water seal or something ?
Andy <<<< not a builder
