Anyone else think this is a ripoff?
I haven't been to a motor show for ages, and was planning to go tomorrow. Checked the NEC web site and discovered that it's £15 a ticket, plus £8 to park - at a motor show FFS! It's not like there's an adequate train service either, I've checked.
Definitely in two minds about it now. On the one hand, I can afford it. On the other hand, I refuse to be ripped off on principle.
Has anyone been already, and is it worth it?
A.

Car parks and meters are £4/hr 'round here
Personally, I think parking should be free at a venue like that. I'll be going next week, but probably with a few mates so between us the £8 won't seem so bad. If you're on your Jones it becomes a little pricey. (Especially if you're driving a couple of hours to get there.)

I went in a mates Audi A4. Saw the sign or Audi hospitality and just drove in. When approached by guy on gate just looked the other way and drove to the other end of the car park. Cheeky but saved £8.

Andy,
if you can get to a nearby station with a free car park, why not try for a ticket via http://www.centro.org.uk/centro587364/home/frame.html?
I only heard it on BRMB, so can't say how good it is.
