Thumbs up

I am fairly happy with my CV
However I need to send a covering letter with it when I respond to job adverts out of the local paper.
This is where I am struggling ! Does anyone have a copy of a letter which they have used in the past, which I could have a look at please ????
Any letters which could be emailed to me would be much appreciated !
Thanks in advance

Paul

Paul, whilst I don't have a pre-prepared letter - I'm told I am good with the written word !!! (I'm also looking for a job at the mo)

If you have a bash at a letter, I'm very happy to take the time to help with it "to ensure you maximise the opportunities you have"

Mail me if interested.

I always take the time to write an indevidual covering letter to suit the job/position applied for. Find out as much as possible about the job and the company, then compose a letter that brings out your abilities with particular reference to the job and to anything else that you can bring to the role.

If you've got GOOD hand-writing, then by hand is better. My wife does a cracking one & has always got an interview for the positions that she has applied for - all leading edge companies in her field. She also interviews well!

But that is the thing to do.

If you're printing it, nip out and get some decent quality paper. Shows you've put some effort it rather than dumping it out on cheap coppier paper.
