Claims Direct
#1
Has anyone here had any dealings with them? I ask because they are currently handling a personal injury claim of mine resulting from a road traffic accident. Just had the news that the other side has admitted liability , but......
My view on the situation : I know that C.D. have had alot of financial troubles, and I've seen them on telly on such programs such as 'Watchdog' where claimants do not get the full amount of compo. CD charge you around £1350 for their services, which is deducted from any compensation. According to CD, these charges can then be recovered via an 'insurance policy' which you sign up for when making a claim...but I've read/seen stuff where people are not getting this £1350 back. So I'm a bit worried as I'm not due an awful lot of money.....
Without turning this thread into libellous material, has anyone any info on them?
*why do I only check my posts for spacko spelling/grammer AFTER i've posted it?*

I would guess that in your case that because liability is not an issue, then there will be no problem.
My wife knows more about this stuff than me as she does it for a living (PI)

Bloke I went skiing with last year was an actual PI. Sounded deathly boring 95% of the time. Mind you better than IT - thats deathly boring 99% of the time.
