Sorry about the boring question but....
Anyone any idea what these things cost?
My dad has asked me to look on the 'net for details, though can't find anything on costs (including velux.com).
He thinks someone is trying to put one over on him and just wanted to check what the prices were.
Window is 1.0m x 0.5m (seems a bit small to me!)
Sorry about the total lack of detail

Thanks for that Steve.
The site you mentioned shows his window at £153.65 inc VAT. The roofer has quoted my dad £379 + VAT (That's just for the window - not to fit it!)
Maybe I should become a roofer at those markups!

£150 is expensive for that size window anyway.
Velux site is overpriced, compared to the price you would pay for one at a roofing specialist.
You can also ask for a in-line fitting kit for it. This makes the window sit alot lower, and looks a whole lot better when finished.

We just installed two Velux windows in our upstairs bathroom. The two windows totalled £800 and the smaller one was the size you quoted.
We had trouble sourcing these as Velux do not supply direct to the public - if you're in the Bagshot / Windlesham area - then Thompsons Builders in Windlesham will get whatever size you want - as places like B&Q & Homebase will only supply a standard range.
Hope that's of some help - they are expensive - but they are the best. Gawd I sound like an advert....
