Have experience using it and if your sensible it can give good results. I however was not sensible trying to get an extra 150Bhp out of a N/A Pug motor...needles to say it didn't last long....twice

I think it's going to be best used on the Scooby as a quick squirt in low down in the rev range, just to get the turbo spinning and then cut it out, let the turbo do the rest.
no more than a 25Bhp jet required, hopefully the Nos will last a lot longer than a few days as it did in the Pug (mind you I was a loon in that thing.)

My mate ran it on his 2.0 16v corsa, said it shifted. Then ive heard of a 1.1 saxo on it.

If i had a scooby/skyline/supra. i wouldnt. Its cheap power. Surly if its tuned right, they wont be a problem?

ie top secret skyline 0-200 24secs etc

You'd rather spend a fortune on irreversable tuning then?

It's fairly cheap and if used correctly won't damage the car. It can be removed easily and installed on another vehicle or sold, unlike say a turbo conversion.

It also doesn't increase fuel consumption or make the car run hotter when it's switched off.

Its not a bolt on application.

You need the engine strengthened etc.

Also cost per bottle.

best off doing it right 1st time.

Look at fast n the Furios it blows up

He said when it's switched off. I think the point was that with other mods, they're permanent and 'always-on'. Whereas with NOS you can use it when the urge grabs you, but the rest of the time the car's performance and economy etc is unaffected.

Fuzz, didn't quite phrase that right, what I meant so say is that when it's switched off it doesn't increase fuel consumption etc. I.e. you can still runn the car in "economic" mode.

Si, it was in F&F so it must be true!

Have a look at http://www.noswizard.com/ and inwardly digest.

The engine only needs strengthening if you go mad. What causes the biggest stress on the engine is the fact that NOS makes the same HP figure everywhere through the rev range. When your at peak power adding a 50hp shot doesn't stress the engine as much as adding that 50 shot at 900rpm (thats 291.7lb/ft torque you're adding at tickover rather than 40.4 lb/ft at 6500rpm)

As with anything, if you do it right, it'll work, if you don't it'll be an expensive lesson.

Would you just up the boost on your Scooby without research? If so, I recommend 400psi
