£55 including £50 cashback from a Safeway I've never been near at the other end of the country on a day I was at work.

Heard about it, now it's happened to me!

Been in contact with the bank, they're disputing payment on my behalf sending me a form to fill out then they will credit my account.

Check your statements carefully!

This has already happened to me last summer. Lived in my flat with no net access to only checked account on and off. Went back to my folks house, logged in found lots of 50 quid is spends and m and w type shops(turns out to be some **** getting max cash back)

Anyway, called the bank and went to see the cops. The bank coughed up very quickly (less than a week and 400 quid ish) no dispute. The cops did f-all cos it would have taken tooo long to watch the security tapes - even though by doing so they could have identified the person.

All I can think is they got hold of a receipt from my bin, as it was all done within a few miles of my flat.

happened to my folks!

while they were filling up with fuel in Dundee......some guy was spending £2k on computer stuff in Kissimee in Florida !!
They were hit for £5k in total !!
They started testing the water with pizza hut purchases then moved into the big time !!!

Card company covered it though
