******* holiday insurance companies.
Dad booked holiday for Sept 18th, (bloody hell thats's today) in August, sadly passed away Aug 22nd. As next of kin I have claimed back the charges and the travel insurance coy sent me a medical form for completion by GP.
Basically it asked questions like, was the person suffering from the condition when he booked the holiday, and if so in your opinion was it reasonable to book a holiday. FFS he's dead, he was only 56, how sudden can it be, he can't go on the holiday, and it seems pretty off sending a letter to the next of kin asking these sort of questions.

In case anyone falls ill and can't make a trip, make sure you are near death's door, looks like they will try and wriggle out of any claim.
