have to choose a dvd system combo thing

Am going with one of two options.
sony davs400 or davs500, both multi regional.
Cant find any reviews online so does anyone have a reason why I should pick one over the other?
price difference is roughly £50, both will be multiregional.
please dont suggest putting together a separates system as this is a second system intended to be neat tidy and easy for the bedroom, it is not my main cinema.

Not got either system, I'm a Panasonic man myself but I reckon after looking at both of them if you want neat and tidy the 400 is the smaller system which would probably be better suited for a bedroom environment.
They both look cracking buys though and If I could afford it I'd always go for the system with the high numbers

Yep - go for the 500 - much better. I used to have the original DAV-S300 and I've now upgraded to the DAV-S800 - which was (is) consistantly rated as one of the best sub-£1000 DVD systems availble. The 500 is no less impressive - just lacks a little power and some features - nothing major though.
