well my gf finished with me on saturday so im not so happy either but 15% payrise wasnt so bad that i got today 
You could always design some new applications for using the TIG on, whilst in your bored moments at work.
At least you have not just fallen asleep in a seminar at Elland Road, had to leave and come back to work
