Can you take the audio from a DVD

got a couple of music dvd's wanted to know if you can take / rip the audio from them and sy convert to mp3 for the car

Yep . Its a lot of work though.
Personally, I find it easier to play the DVD on my PC and use Sound Forge to record the sound that is sent to the audio/wav out.
