There was a topic about self-building a couple of weeks back, during which Rupert Upton's house was mentioned. Unfortunately, I can't find the topic, because Scoobynet's search facility is crap (WTF is the point of having it if it can't search within the topic?!?!).

Anyway, as an addendum, if anyone wants to see his house, it's featured in Built-It magazine this month.
