The story so far
Drove up to Tesco, parked over two spaces about a 1/4 mile from the store, went shopping.

Got a taxi back to the car and heh-presto no dents!
BRILLIANT!!!

I shall go to Tesco more often

Has anyone else had any similar experiences

Lucky you.
Just parked at Safeway and got 2 dents. One from a car door and one from where I whacked the blokes head off my car showing him what he'd done.
I know I shold have hit it off his own but was a bit mad at the time.

a tyre mark on the side of the front bumper and paint torn off said bumper

and my favourite from last year

someone reversing out of their space reversed into the front of mine breaking a spot light, denting the bumper and breaking the headlamp washer and the f*cking off without leaving their details

Yeah you cant beat Tesco

Oh yeah and a letter this morning from the tax man demanding £936.18, I knew I shouldnt have opened the brown envelope until after the weekend

I have had two similar experiences:

went to sainsburys last night for beer and curry, parked next to the Holiday Inn (always empty) at the far end of the car park, came back with beer and curry in hand (it was a chicken madras) and wow! no new dents.

Then I parked the car exactly 3/4 inch off the kerb outside my house, facing direction of traffic, and this morning: hey presto! no new dents.

Ahh... life is so sweet sometimes.

[img]images/smilies/mad.gif[/img]How about this, parked in Tescos at 1.30 pm came out with the shopping at 1.50 pm only to see the front sti5 rear wing ripped off and the front splitter also ripped off, theiving scum bag w@nkers. Cost me £1000 altogether, and Tescos told me there was nothing they could do, and the cctv camera wasnt switched on.

Needless to say i havent shopped at a Tescos since, theyve lost loads of money from me. [img]images/smilies/mad.gif[/img]

Took the BM down to Sainsburys earlier - parked in the closest space I could find - Came back to find several Japanese cars had fallen to pieces while the owners tried to dent my door with theirs.

memo to self - do not complain about build quality of cars that are built to a budget with speed in mind
