Try the manufacturers. My Kodak DC215 played up out of warranty. I told Kodak it was out of warranty, they didn't care, picked it up, repaired it, returned it to me FOC. Admittedly, I hadn't dropped it...

That's a stroke of luck, Kodak normally charge £75 + VAT for repairs, but they did send it back before we paid them.
