Hi all.

I am new to scoobynet I just thought that I would come on here and introduce myself. My name is Zoe and I live in Bicester. I am into rallying and love imprezas Sadly I can't get an impreza yet because my insurance is just too expensive I own a peugeot 306 1.9 diesel turbo for commuting to and from work and a nova gte for fun the peugeot is the only turbo car I can afford to insure so I put an induction kit on that instead LOL

Welcome Zoe. Insurance is steep init. There are some companies that offer great discounts. Depends on your age (Obviously) and your driving record. Try some that claim to offer great discounts for female drivers. It's also worth looking into doing your advanced driving course as that will definatly help bring the premiums down.

GTE sound like a fun car. Don't get caught speeding though or else you'll never be able to afford to insure a Scooby. Have fun on the site. There are some absolutly great people on here as I am sure you will find and a mine of information and tips. I got help only yesterday form a guy as I was having extream difficulty with my new group N front brake upgrade.

I like the picture of the scooby.
The GTE is fun! It is really quick! I was going down the M40 and I looked down at the speedo and it said **mph! My brother (Paul Palmer) had **mph out of it the other day and says I cant have it back! I have put a K&N Induction kit on that car too!

Plus I am under 25 years old hense the high Insurance! I am impressed with Jens car though! With my job being so far away I have to run the diesel as it is cheap, quick, handles VERY well and has a mad system in it! My brother (Paul Palmer) loves round-a-bouts and I was following him to Castle Coome one Saturday and tried to fling it like he did but ended up with my cd's, phone and cigarettes flying instead! IT DOES NOT MOVE!!!!!!

welcome Zoe. May i suggest you dont post stuff like you were doing 125MPH on the motorway, this is a public BBS!

Nova GTE's can be fun, i always found they were very light on the rear and had a tendency to do wheelies.

Keep an eye out for a lime green ibiza on the M40 then. Give a flash and a wave if you see me. I go up to oxford a lot to see the other half and love the nice downhill stretch of m40 just before the oxford turnoff. I dont contribute much here but reading helps put a smile on me chops and pass the working day!
