... seeing as my new head unit can play MP3 CD's and I've got a 10-disc changer, i need to start downloading!

Kazaa is full of spyware. You really want either Kaza Lite, or the version I'm currently using which is Diet Kaza.

Trust me - THE Best one to use is iMESH , beats kazaa hands-down. It is more reliable, faster and has more uptodate movies etc.

winmx gets my vote for mp3s.

Those of you on cable/adsl really need to try "Direct Connect". Its cool but mainly for vids

I loaded iMesh and it completely fcuked my machine right up. Loaded skins on Internet Explorer and all sorts. I'm sure it was this program that loaded bonzai buddy as well!!

As I said I reckon WinMX is tops

WinMX is excellent - also the newsgroups are good for albums (can't select what you want but if you keep an eye out you can grab the latest stuff).

dont use kazaa! it installs a load of spyware on your machine and is generally a pain in the ****.

use this instead, it does the same thing without the spying. www.kazaalite.com
