Surely the minolta is a lot bigger camera - to some (including myself) that is an important factor in camera choice.

I'd take it. I've had the original Digital Ixus for nearly two years and it's a superb piece of kit.

A sample from Rally Cat this year

Samples a plenty at http://www.cxi.org.uk/cars/gallery.asp

My Ixus is dead handy as you can take it anyway without noticing it. For anything serious, I have my SLR with proper lenses

Camera is a discontinued model.

http://www.internetcamerasdirect.co....-300-deals.htm

Price is the same as a reputable online shop but they include free delivery at £299

http://www.askdirect.co.uk/uview?cal...61&topcatid=12

Could try the 330 for just a bit more dosh !

http://www.internetcamerasdirect.co....-330-deals.htm

Hope this helps

Dave.

Well for all you with 'Girlie' hands and Gold Wheels, stick with the little wee Canon

Us 'Men' with Bear paws haven't a hope in hell of operating such a delcate piece of kit!!

So, its the Canon for the ladies and the Minolta for the men - sorted!!

Wink

Pete,

but us with 'Girlie' hands and Gold Wheels have a side effect as well as having a "hope in hell of operating such a delcate piece of kit" we can also operate other girlie delicate pieces of kits where a bear paw would be toooooo painful, so perhaps you are right in a Canon for the ladies man.

Using a small digital camera is very much like making love to a beautiful woman.

You have to get out your pouch
You have to fiddle with her shutter
Then you have to squeeze the button till it's empty

I'll get me coat..........
