Minolta S304 - beats anything else at that price point hands down

IMHO of course - dont even think of another camera!!

Pete

P1Fanatic 16 July 2002 10:13 PM

Surely the minolta is a lot bigger camera - to some (including myself) that is an important factor in camera choice.

ChrisB 16 July 2002 11:01 PM

I'd take it. I've had the original Digital Ixus for nearly two years and it's a superb piece of kit.

A sample from Rally Cat this year :)

Samples a plenty at http://www.cxi.org.uk/cars/gallery.asp

My Ixus is dead handy as you can take it anyway without noticing it. For anything serious, I have my SLR with proper lenses :D

Well for all you with 'Girlie' hands and Gold Wheels, stick with the little wee Canon ;)

Us 'Men' with Bear paws haven't a hope in hell of operating such a delcate piece of kit!! :D

So, its the Canon for the ladies and the Minolta for the men - sorted!!

Pete

DemonDave 17 July 2002 12:04 AM

Pete,

but us with 'Girlie' hands and Gold Wheels have a side effect as well as having a "hope in hell of operating such a delcate piece of kit" we can also operate other girlie delicate pieces of kits where a bear paw would be toooooo painful, so perhaps you are right in a Canon for the ladies man.

Dave ;)

P1Fanatic 17 July 2002 09:55 AM

well put dave :p

P1Fanatic 17 July 2002 09:58 AM

Using a small digital camera is very much like making love to a beautiful woman.

You have to get out your pouch
You have to fiddle with her shutter
Then you have to squeeze the button till it's empty :D

I'll get me coat..........

Scoobydick 17 July 2002 10:32 AM

........and then you have to download pictures on to your PC and post them on the internet.......so yes, a lot like making love to a beautiful woman :D

ScoobyTal 17 July 2002 07:22 PM

hmmmmmmmmmmm so why is the 330 better ??

Tal
