Who has right of way.....

....in this situation?
Get this on a regular basis on my way to work. Main road is a "A". Side roads are unclassified. Roads are in the country side and all are National Speed Limit (or "any speed" as I called them when I was a nipper ).
I tried looking at the Highway Code site but it did not give this particular type of encounter.
(apologies for lack of artistic skill in this rendering )

What if the red car is turning right, then they are both coming from the right and therefore both have right of way??? most confusing......in this situation you just know when to go. The fact the blue car has to cross 2 lanes and the red car just 1 makes it easier.

I was told that in this situation it's the vehicle that is turning around the curb rather than across the road that has right of way. In this case the red car stays alongside the curb throughout the turn whicle the blue doesn't, so the red car would have priority. Of course, that's assuming what I was told is correct

Yep I agree red has right of way (I think!) its something to do with the fact that blue is turning right into oncoming traffic and should always give way.

If it's give way to the right then they both have each other on their right as they look out of the junction I would guess the pink one because he doesn't have to cross a lane but who knows? I always come across the situation the blue one is in and stare out the other driver then pull out

Mmmmm. As I though, no one knows...
If the red car was turning right, then the blue car has RoW as he is crossing the path of the blue one. But still not sure about my example.
I'm going to send my sketch to someone in the gvmnt to see if they know

It is absolutely the red car's right of way. At similar crossroad junctions the car turning left or going straight on ALWAYS has right of way unless it is signposted differently.. Cars turning right at crossroads always have to give way (ie the blue car). If both cars are turning right at a crossroads then it simply a matter of courtesy as to who turns first, or if the road is wide enough, you can both turn at the same time.

Have e-mailed the Driving Standards Agency (not sure if these are the right people).
For the record, I'm the one in the Red car and I feel like I should have right of way, but I always get someone turing right opposite as I'm about to go and end up having to break otherwise they would go into my drivers side .
If it were me in the blue car, I would wait as I would be crossing a carrige way to join the lane...
Will await a reply from DSA....

I'd say red has ROW(as turning left with flow of traffic, not crossing any other lanes and 3 lefts make a right) but it's difficult for blue to get out so is more likely to chance it(so beware)as soon as the lane closest to him/her is clear.

Whichever car I happen to be driving has right of way of course!
I follow the old addage - "he who hesitates ends up giving way"
Near me there are lots of "mini" roundabouts. They are maybe all of 3 meters across, and they have three exits and you get three cars approaching at the same time quite often...
Imagine the fun. They all stop. They are all looking right. They all see a car at the roundabout that they have to give way to, so they all sit there looking at each other...for ever and ever..
Unless Im one of the three, in which case Im GONE!!!!!

I say RED too.... because the blue has to cross a traffic flow.
Also if the red car was going straight across then he would have right of way too.
I believe it is in the highway code...
Problem is not many people know the correct answer, so if you are in the red car watch that the blue car doesn't try and take you out.. gets confusing if you drive a blue car and stop at the junction in the red car position! that would through it all out!
Seriously I would put money on the Red car having right of way.
Where is BURR when you need him!
