The sign on the pump says collect all 18 and you win a £50k car from any stand at the motor show. Doesn't say "the chance of a £50k car".

Maybe there's only one 'card 18' in the whole country.

 

Just had a look and it looks like they have one rare card. They only have four of these (as four people can win). It will probably something like the ferrari or the TVR. They don't day though so you don't know if you may have the rare card or not.

Hmm, there are a lot of Optimax users on here. Maybe if we have a poll we can work out what the rare card is?

Indeed there will be one card that is the 'winner'. I used to go out with a girl who's parents worked for shell and we spent a few hours opening a box of 'make money' cards which was one of their first promotions of this type (about 20 years ago !). We ended up with huge piles of one 'half' of each prize - it was very clear then how it worked.

We should be able to work it out easily enough - I've got -

The bumph on the back of the leaflet says "Did you know you can play a game with your Top Trumps cards?". Like that's going to be a lot of fun with 17 cards or less (I'm assuming if you've got 18 different cards then you've got something else to occupy your mind )

I filled up with Optimax the other day and the assistant handed me a silver pack and said 'here's a thing you get for filling up with that fancy new stuff' - true quality service

 

I feel a letter coming on:

"...so if you can send me all 18 cards by return and tell me where to pick up the keys to my new car..."

Think the Ferrari is the rare one. Been 3 times since I got my scoob and this is the first time Ive been given the trump cards and its the time Ive spent the least (£23 instead of £36 odd).

Ah just seen that the comp only started on July 4th - doh! Is there any minimum purchase before you get given the cards? I know it says no purchase necessary but couldnt we just fill up with a fivers worth every day of the week to get more cards?

It does say "with any purchase of Optimax". I suppose it's minimum delivery 2 litres.

Last update for today (resized it to fit a bit better too). Ferrari is a contender, as is the Maser Spyder and the M12. Unless one of us has already got the rare card

Very funny u numpty. Surely with the power of scoobynet and all of us optimax users we should be able to win one

 

My thoughts exactly -- it's entirely possible that someone may come close to winning (i.e. got one of the rare cards) but doesn't know it. Between the lot of us we must get through a shed load of Optimax. I'd like to see someone on here win it -- but it relies on people posting the cards they actually have

 

Okay okay, i've none yet jeez...Dundee only got Optimax on Monday!

I'm off out now to fill up tho and i'll be nippin' the boys head for a handful

Ive never bought optimax in my life, but due to Mr Clarkson, hsi nice fish (see the new optimax advert on telly) AND the chance of a fifty grand car Im gonna go fill the scoob tomorrow.
