Had my car in at the dealer today for a geometry setup and was given a W reg 60k Legacy Saloon to drive. You really know the Impreza's brakes are crap when you get back in and realise that the Legacy's were far better. How on earth can Subaru justify putting such poor brakes on a 220bhp performance car?
Is it the calipers, pads or discs that are crap or a combo? I ask because I cant afford a decent full upgrade at the moment so was wondering if its worthwhile going for something like what SS offer with the pagid pads and discs, then upgrading the calipers later on?
