K Band Tractor - wtf ?!
#1
On the way home my recently acquired Snooper S5 went mental when I came up behind a tractor - usual fare with flashin light. I backed off and signal got weaker, got close and it got damned strong again. Eventually it turned off and no signal.
Question - wtf on a tractor gives off k band signals ?!
Craig.

I phoned my mate Ted about this one as he owns a farm in Wiltshire. He reckons that the only thing on a tractor that could possibly affect the K band are 1/ CB radio operating on an illegal frequency, 2/ "Grass box full" indicator lamp in cab (assuming it had the optional grass cutting implement attached).....Blutes

some combines have GPS that links to the yield monitor. Farmer Giles can then download data , analyse and then fertlize cost effectivily in those places that need it
