can someone recommend a cheap home insurance company?

When I used Direct Line (as car was insured with Privilege) they gave me 25% discount as the two policies were with the same company.

Question

Zurich are very cheap, and process claims fast too. Been the cheapest for me for 2 years now.

thanks for the tip!

I am with privilege so they started to extend me the same discount.

but it would appear that my home audio kit extends to a value beyond which they are willing to even quote on, so no luck!

most annoyed!

will try zurich next.

Tesco gave us quite good deal on our home insurance.

For comparison, Tesco circa £250 compared with £375ish from HSBC and £350ish from Natwest, all per year, if I remember right.
