most of my friends know I like being single, because of the freedom I have, but I ain't exactly happy with it, because they know what I miss from my last relationship, and what that meant to me (will not publically go into details, those who know, know.)

Even though it was posted as joke. I must agree with you. I hate it when the first thin some guy mentions about his new girlfriend etc is the fact that she is "Fit" etc... It is wrong and makes men that realy talk that way look stupid. But...... My first ever job involded working with 7 girls!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Jesus what a eye opener...... They are far worse than us.

But as mentioned by you and others. We are products that wish to be bought. We advertise for what we are and what we want..... Its just "Shopping"!!!! Thats the way the world has become... Its all "QUICK QUICK QUICK" . There is no building and working a relationship.

Those who know me away from this board know that I

A) say it like it is
B) am not offended by the purule use of profanities as a substitute for reasoned debate or argument as in your post....LOL....
C) am not averse to using colourful language myself.

But, the policy on this (public) BBS (whether I agree with it personally or not) is to moderate offensive language, so posting w*****, ****, **** etc will result in moderation removed. Get it? Its not that hard to understand really.

I wouldn't say Im at the "desperate" stage, but I I'm getting to the point where I'd quite like a girlfriend now ! (Been single for about a year)

Before you ask, I'm not a peter Beardsley look-a-like, and my past girlfriends have been very good lookers. People say I'm really nice, and handsome so why can't I pull the god damn ladies when I go out !

Any advice ladies ? Any good techniques ? What attributes do you look for in men ? (This would be useful to know so I know if I've got any !!)

Seriously though have you never watched programs like Louis Theroux (sp) on the whole Thai thing? Personally I'd rather go out and **** some local farmyard animals rather than admit to be considering "buying" a wife. Hookers for the physical side and Scoobynet for genaral chattin, can't beat a winning formula.

as a man that had a few birds gold diggers and the wife from hell which cost me the price of a ferrari 360 to divorce (i still made profit!!) i fanced a change a fillipino although she had been in this country for 10 years fantastic slim long black hair fun to be with and good looking for a thirty_something ,drives me back from the pub ,washs the scoob every week and cheaper to run than an english rose.i would never sell her or swap her! i now know lots of men who have an asian wife and their all sware by them >i would recommend one to everyone!!!

As some may be aware I'm single, and despite the shark tag (which you all know I'm not really ) I/m a nice guy. I do (did?) have a self-esteem/confidence problem, and this don't help much.

All i can say is that someone will come along, prolly when you least expect it. OK, crap advice I know, but I'm in the same boat. i don't think I've got the confidence to go down the pub and pull. A good female friend told me that the best way to meet someone new is via your friends, as they know what you are like and therefore if they fix you up, chances are you'll have something in common.

Doing the shark thing on the internet, ie; on here . sounds lke a good idea and yes, there are a few couples who have met through scoobynet, but in reality, I don't think it works. Though i have made lots of good friends on here, and some of them are female.

My good friend also said "don't go looking for love, because you will not find it, it will find you" and I trust her advice.

Well, that's my 2p worth.

So, any single females around here then?
