Yes

It will be on a slightly different insurance line though (pink) and still has the day of signing on it but can be backdated as far as 2weeks IIRC.

Avi, I was in that situation a couple of weeks ago.

I was unable to get an appointment at our doctors due to them being fully booked The next available appointment I explained to the GP I am seeing regularly whilst I am off sick and he got a Med 5 form with which he was able to backdate my overdue sicknote.

Purely a coincidence, but it did help having 2.5 weeks off

Managed to get it serviced, spoilered, brakes done, plates changed etc.....
