Question

Anyone care to make an educated guess as to how the exchange rate is likely to go in the next 2-3 months between the GBP and the Euro?

Wink

If anyone knew that, they wouldn't be telling you - they'd be buying/selling the currency themselves!

Worse and worse. Am I the only one that is suspecting tony and the new labia mafia are driving the country down to make selling the full 'united states of europe' proposition to the UK easier??

Even got Brown telling eddie george he will 'support him if he increases interest rates' independant my ****

The euro is rocketing, the quid not too bad and dollar falling.

There will probably be dollar euro parity again in next month or so.

Angry

I actally e-mailed the bank of England to find out why the pound is falling against the euro at the mo, and they said it was due to politicians talking abt early entry (oo-er missus), and that was increasing confidence in the euro. I started listening/watching carefully, and am now totally convinced that, yes, they are "talking the pound down" in order to make our entry easier. Therefore, expect it to continue falling at least as far as 1.4 to the£.

Thumbs up

Thanks for the replies, I'm expecting the pound to keep on falling, but was hoping that someone may have some reason to the contrary.

If only the politicians could have kept quiet until I had got around to sorting out the cash for the car, guess I may as well buy it before the exchange rate get any worse.
