Our Cyber City will have a State of the Art External Security System which at this stage evolves around "Sound Waves" which has the capacity at a specific frequency to repel flying objects up to a five mile circumference.
Is this for real?

There will be 50 elevators named after each of the states of America.....I thought there were 52?
A very detailed wind up, impressive, but in pretty poor taste aye.
I am sure the media both Englaish and American would have sniffed out new plans way before a website like that was available for general viewing.
I also have no doubt that new plans and proposals would have an official release as opposed to some stray website.

I'm not sure if it's a wind-up, or whether someone's seriously trying to get backing to build such a thing. If it is a wind-up, someone has spent a lot of time and money on it.
Plus there's very limited press coverage - see story in the miami herald
Still could be a wind-up.

The disclaimer on the intro is interesting in that they state that they have no affliation with the world trade center assoc.
At best it's an architectual submission for the upcoming competition to be held later in the year for design ideas.
At worst it's a sick wind up.
Oh Michelle there are 50 states in the Union not 52 Puerto Rico and Canada don't count as states LOL Although if you ask the average american they think they are

Nice web-site and quite a cool design for a building although my initial thoughts were "this is a wind-up".
I thought it was still being decided what to do with the site, now that it was cleared.
Michelle - As it has been mentioned 50 states in America... a clue in this pop-culture world we live in would have been the film "The 51st State" where Britain is described as the 51st State!

The whole ting looks mighty impressive to me....
The soundwave idea is really cool but it worries me, alot ! how the hell do they get this to work ! what about the other buildings when some physco decides to try to fly into it are they protected ?
Erm dust what happens to that because it's flying, traffic on the ground going through this barrier etc. lot's of grey areas. I used to work as an avionics technician and indeed ultrasonic's are used to shake things apart at molecular level so it can be done easily but not without killing anything in the waves path !!
But then again stars wars is back on, so anything's possible !

Just a thought about the five mile no-fly zone... how close are the three airports in New York to the WTC site?
That might cause some problems.... "sorry you are going to have to shut JFK and Newark (for example) because you are just too darn close."
