Oil on the road my ****! More likely:
Bloke who knows little about driving
+
Knows little about cars (beyond make and model)
+
30yr old super car with nearly no driver aids (maybe ABS and PAS), no flappy paddles, no flyby wire, no TC/stability control etc. With stiff suspension with limited travel and potentially 30yr old dampers and bushes.
+
Old out of date tyres (bet they’ll be over 10yrs old so dried out rubber) the AWD version used specific P-Zero “System” tyres which are out of production and any available will be mega old stock...they do look like system asymmetricos as they have quite a distinctive three sections of very different tread patterns across the width. ( Would you believe there is a good trade for used period-correct tyres on ebay!)
+
wet road
+
Typically British road surface
=
Well, yeah what did you expect?
I know what v12 engine braking is like on the overrun with a pure mechanical throttle. Take Me Out Paddy likely doesn’t (or does now, but doesn’t realise it )
