Default 50cc moped

Mind you not sure what rules are if you have full driving licence engine wise?. Might take full bike test

Times just getting stupidly tight and really considering one.for the moment Any recommendations?

You can ride up to a geared 125cc bike but you need to do a CBT that will last 2 years.

If you want something different and for people to point and laugh you could try and get hold of a Honda DAX ST

I had a DAX ST50 way way back; typical Honda as being virtually indestructible, bar the kickstart.

Just looked at the prices of them now...gone crazy, bough mine for £100! Now they’re asking crazy money

How far are you really going to travel in one journey?

Cycle, Ebike E-Moped or 50cc 4 stroke moped in that order of my preference

First 2 require no license of any sort unless you want 28mph top speed then its S Pedelec with CBT or full car license before 2001

When did you take your test, if you passed your car test before 1st Feb 2001 it gives you a full licence for a moped so you don't need to do CBT to ride one, otherwise you'll need to do a CBT but will allow you to move to a 125.

For ultimate in fitness an E bike would be first. However doing 30 miles a day is not an easy commute.

If budget is tight, 50cc 4 stroke moped or E moped are similar RRP.

I was only going off RRP. If the OP has only two pennies to run together, then risking a chance on an old 50.
