Default Dash warning light.

A neighbour has a new jazz and this symbol has come up on her dash.

I've searched online and she can't see anything in her manuals.

Any ideas.

Battery in the key is low....

Assuming it’s a keyless entry/start.

Thats exactly what I thought but it does it with both keys & the manual even says it will say the words (change battery in key)

I hope so as it's an easy fix

The spare key could be flat too...they usually activate/wake up when they sense movement, so if the key is always being jiggled around (say in a pocket) the battery will drain quicker.

Got to admit last time I saw that was on a CR-V and that did say in text to change remote battery. It’s the same symbol though.

If the car opens and starts normally I can’t think what else it could be; The symbol for no key/key error is different.

What's the white graphic underneath? That looks like a level of some sort - it's not showing the battery level is it?

Just a thought, couldn't really tell from the photo!

I thought it was to adjust the screen brightness but it did turn out to be the keys. Both were low

Turned out both keys were low. Batteries changed and light gone.

Not sure why it didnt say change key battery as per the manual but at least she has saved herself a few £££
