does anyone know if the new cameras that have been fitted on the m3 near camberley/lightwater are speed cameras, they're spaced about every couple of hundred yards. have also seen then appear recently on the m25 near the m40 junction etc.

think they cover virtually ever bit of road between jct 4 to 3 (not usre how many there are southbound but there are definitely some), weird thing is most of them face the rear of the car and then i think every 5 or 6 there is one facing the front of the car ?
not sure if they're for observation as the original cameras which the police use for breakdowns are still there.

Think they might be the new camera's that time you over a distance i.e. between two camera sites

I've seen the same on the M25 near M40 but haven't seen those camera's go up yet...

If they are speed cameras then I certainly have a problem!!!!!!!! I have been through them loads of times and as yet have had nothing through the post.

I think they are something to do with the Road works that will be going on as the same ones went up when they did road works on the M25, and they were up months before anything happened. Also seen them on the M11 during the road works.
