with the engine being banned in 2040-who else fancies a change now
so its been playing on my mind for a while now.
with the combustion engine being phased out in 2040 i find myself want to different cars whilst i have the chance.
i love my impreza,i love the sound/looks/performance/grip and i know i would regret selling it but i find myself wanting to try an evo.
looking at either an MR edition or a late evo 9, i dont wanna regret not having one in the future but do i want one enough to sell the impreza. also been looking at rear wheel drive v8's like the vxr8/c63 amg and mustang.........and a dodge challenger srt
ah well....such is life. anybody else feeling the urge to jump ship?
yep, even if i was i wouldnt go electric. i like to hear my car, i know they are quick but it would just feel wrong not listening to the growl from the engine
Combustion engines may carry on...they aren't being banned. Just legislation means new ones sold need to be zero emissions. And even then, it only needs to be zero emissions for the first 50 miles too.
So I'll be chugging round in my old R32 with a hydrogen conversion, or if funds allow; A Mr-Fusion unit.
Actually thinking about .. petrol heads will turn their attention to electric as the phasing out draws closer. The ability to change the mind set from the combustion engine to electric would be easy, dare i say many will be looking at home DIY conversions kits.

No they won't. How much retro stuff is still on the roads, and not just cars?
